Dylan Songbook

“Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.”
(Bob Dylan)

DYLAN SONGBOOK

Quite a few of Bob Dylan´s most significant songs still sound best in the context in which they originated. Winn Dillon takes the audience back to Dylan´s folk roots in Greenwich Village in the 60s, either solo with his guitar and harmonica, or accompanied by his three bandmates.

The Dylan Songbook is best suited for small venues and clubs, and includes songs like A Hard Rain´s A-Gonna Fall, The Times They Are A-Changing, Desolation Row and Tangled Up In Blue. This mostly acoustic trip through the epochal songbook of Robert Allen Zimmerman also deals with song lyrics and their biographical background, and illustrates why Bob Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
